We hope you’re all doing really well and enjoying the sunshine.
This week we take a look for the first time at Hillsong (young and free) – a worship group who produce a lot of Christian music, particularly aimed at young people, and is sung in churches throughout the world. We think you’re going to enjoy this one.
2 Corinthians 5:17-18
17 This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!
18 And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him.
What do people think of Christians at your school? Do you think others have a realistic understanding of what Christianity really is?
The bible passage from above teaches that God changes us when we choose to follow him, and that we can also help others to enjoying knowing him too. Can you think of just one name person that you could try and share your faith with this week?

The Great Commission – Matthew 28:16-20
16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

2. Jesus gives us a mission to tell others about him and to make disciples (followers of Jesus), this is to be part of our daily living in action and word. What could you do for people or say that would show the love of Jesus is not silent in you (quoting the song)?
